This piece was created specially for Tails in the Trails, benefiting Fund Carlito’s Casa. Burned into a slab of beech wood, it features a lion emerging from the darkness — strong, calm, and powerful. The edges of the wood slope gently, revealing hand-burned scenes of the African bush, adding a quiet nod to the wild places we’re working to protect. Wildlife conservation is crucial to preserving biodiversity, protecting ecosystems, and ensuring future generations experience the wonders of the natural world.
