Hideaways grew from the quiet thrill of discovering something that might easily have gone unseen. Tucked within the hollow of an old tree, an owl peers out from its shelter, almost disappearing into the darkness around it. The tree is hand block printed while the owl is formed through embossing alone, allowing the bird to emerge from the paper itself. The raised form gives the owl a subtle presence that changes with the light, echoing the experience of suddenly noticing something hidden in plain sight. Each print is made by hand, resulting in subtle variations that make every piece unique.

The moment of discovery is part of what makes these encounters memorable. There is something special about catching a glimpse of a life unfolding quietly around you — something that was there all along, waiting to be noticed.
