Mousing captures a fleeting moment of instinct and precision — a fox mid-dive, disappearing into the snow in pursuit of something just beneath the surface. Created using a combination of relief printing and embossing, the fox is hand block printed while the snowdrift and the hidden mouse are pressed into the paper to create subtle dimension. The embossing allows the surface to physically hold the movement of the animal, adding depth and texture to the story within the print. Each piece is carved, inked, and pressed by hand, resulting in slight variations that make every print unique.

Together, they tell a story of movement you almost miss — the sudden break in stillness, the quiet hunt beneath winter ground. It is a study of focus, timing, and the unseen life moving just out of view.

Mousing is part of the Meadowland collection, a monthly series centered on observation and intimate moments within a small ecosystem. Prints are sent via regular post, include a certificate of authenticity, and are editioned. Orders placed before the 15th of the release month will arrive by the end of that month. New prints in the Meadowland collection are released at the start of each month.
