Nesting grew from an observation of a small nest tucked among grasses and branches. The birds are absent, but their presence remains in every carefully placed twig and woven strand, along with the promise of what the nest was made to hold. The nest is hand block printed while the eggs are formed through embossing alone, allowing their shapes to emerge directly from the paper. The raised surface catches the light and gives the quiet scene a physical sense of presence. Each print is made by hand, resulting in subtle variations that make every piece unique.

A nest can be easy to overlook, especially once its builders have moved on. But the evidence of their work tells a story of instinct, care, and the brief season of life unfolding within it. It is a small piece of the meadow that remains after the moment itself has passed.
